L.A., Take Two

This post is extremely late; my apologies, but internet has not been readily available for the past while... Not that I missed it!

On our way back from NZ, we flew back into L.A. for a few nights, returning to the areas we enjoyed the most on our visit in May. Pete and I cycled on beach cruisers through Venice, stopping in vintage shops (awesome cowboy boots were purchased) and coffee shops. We had an incredible, horrifyingly delicious (if that's at all possible) food experience, cooked for Pete's grandmother and generally enjoyed some warmer weather.

Playing with the new "Made in China" glasses purchased on Venice Beach
Coffee @ Intellegencia, a Venice landmark, or so we were told
Beach cruisers are officially amazing. So much fun.
Cloudy beach side ride.
Fabulous vintage shop finds. Pete seems to like the whole gay cowboy thing...

OKI-DOG! Home of the Oki-dog: two hot dogs, smoked meat, chili and cheese wrapped in a deep fried tortilla. I swear I'm not making this up and, yes, it was horrifyingly delicious.
Home made pasta!
Painstakingly hard to make without a machine, but so worth it.
The Chef, hard at work.
