L.A. and on to New Zealand

After a crammed trip back to Montreal (for graduation, no big deal), I finally set out for my much awaited return to New Zealand! This time, instead of doing the full trip in one go, I spent four days in L.A.; an opportunity to explore and meet some of Pete's family. I got the speed tour: Hollywood blvd, Sunset strip, Beverly hills, Venice Beach, West Hollywood, Downtown L.A., etc. We get four more days on the way back, and now I know where my fave spots are.

A cruise on a palm tree lined blvd: classic.

Approaching Venice Beach, where L.A.'s eccentrics unite

Must find the ultimate hat! This place was sweet, filled with gorgeous head adornments.

A pineapple milkshake at Mel's Diner = yumminess

Disney Theater, Downtown L.A.

A stroll on the walk of stars

Hollywood blvd in all its glory for the premier of "The A Team"

So much stuff... too much stuff

The sweet hat that was finally chosen
We finally take off, 13 hours from L.A. to Aukland and another 2 to get to Queenstown. One week off before we started training, and we had the difficult task of sorting out a place to live. We find an awesome flat with friendly roomates but one problem: we can't move in until the 18th of June... All I can say is its a good thing we have good friends! So the past while has consisted mainly of couch crashing, sorting out cell phones and bank accounts, chilling with friends and riding. Not a bad week.

So New Zealand, does Pete have what it takes to be NZ's next top model?

Training is done, we're almost moved in and the Remarkables open this Saturday. Looking forward to work and good times with friends.

More to come, much love!
